Bloomfield Hills, MI (PRWEB) January 8, 2008

Frank Lee, owner of Ming's Oriental Cafe in Orion, MI was searching for ways to increase his luncheon business. His kitchen has the capacity to prepare more meals but his restaurant is constrained by seating.

"I decided to use email marketing to encourage more carry-out business with my existing customers," said Frank. "I significantly increased my carry-out business and was also able to increase the size of the carry-out orders at the same time."

Frank credits his success with email marketing to Thatsbiz. "The people at Thatsbiz know how to use email marketing to increase business," Frank adds. "I have been working with them for over a year and I am very pleased with the results."

"I told my Thatsbiz account manager that I wanted to increase my carry-out business," Frank continues. "They suggested and created a fax-in order form and an email marketing promotion message to send to my customers. The results were much better than I expected."

Dave Gonynor, CEO of Thatsbiz adds, "Frank is a busy owner and runs a great restaurant with loyal customers. We work with him to continue to build his email list and regularly email market to his customers. Frank focuses on his business and uses our team to create and send email marketing messages to his customers that deliver results."

Working with Thatsbiz, Frank regularly sends email marketing messages to hundreds of his customers. Frank says, "I now promote new menus items, specials, carry-out and catering using email for a fraction of the cost of advertising." Frank concludes, "Best of all is I don't have to touch my computer. I tell the people at Thatsbiz what I want to email market to my customers and they do the rest."

Women Need Extra Nutritional Support

Women Need Extra Nutritional Support

A New Supplement From Top of the World Distributors May Help

UNION CITY, TN (PRWEB) May 27, 2004 -

– Menopause has long been one of the most dreaded time periods in a woman’s life. Hormonal imbalances, hot flashes, night sweats and more add to the miserable feeling plaguing some women. Help, however, may be as close as you local health food store.

Until recently, most physicians recommended only hormone replacement therapy for their menopausal and post-menopausal patients; those days are over, however, as many have come to realize that supplements can also help with various symptoms associated with this problem.

For example, according to recent studies, soy isoflavones may help alleviate hot flashes and night sweats that many women experience during menopause. Even postmenopausal women who consume high amounts of dietary soy protein generally experience fewer and less intense hot flashes and night sweats.

The herb Black Cohosh has been recommended for depressive moods associated with PMS and menopausal symptoms.

Researchers in Australia have also found a link between Red Clover extract and heart health after menopause. Scientists found that the supplement improved arterial compliance - a measure of elasticity of the large arteries. Declining arterial compliance during and after menopause is known to increase a woman's chance of developing heart disease later in life.

According to German researchers, another supplement - a dried extract of the fruit of the chaste tree - could help women who suffer from premenstrual syndrome find relief from symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, anger, headache, and breast fullness. Vitex Berry has been mentioned in many sources throughout history and is still being recommended today.

Other plant extracts used currently – as well as by herbalists for years – include Dong quai, a Chinese herb high in phytoestrogens. According to scientific investigation, dong quai produces a balancing effect on estrogen activity and a tonic effect on the uterus. Red raspberry and squaw vine have also been shown to be helpful in fighting the symptoms of menopause and post-menopause.

DonÂ’t be afraid to talk to your doctor about adding one or several of these supplements and extracts into your daily routine. Chances are sheÂ’ll be very responsive to what you have to say.

Top of the World Distributors is making it even easier to get these wonderful herbal products in one supplement. WomenÂ’s Support contains all of the above ingredients and more. Great for menopausal and post-menopausal women, this product is available on their website at www. tophealthsource. com or by calling and talking to one of their nurses on-staff at 1-800-325-4366. You may also find it in selected retail outlets throughout the United States.

HBA People Walk the Talk for Better Health in the HBA Great Australian Run

HBA People Walk the Talk for Better Health in the HBA Great Australian Run

Around 80 HBA, MBF and Mutual Community employees and their family and friends put their feet where their mouths were on Sunday to promote the benefits of exercise and to raise funds for charity in the inaugural HBA Great Australian Run.

Melbourne, VIC (PRWEB) December 3, 2008

Around 80 HBA, MBF and Mutual Community employees and their family and friends put their feet where their mouths were on Sunday to promote the benefits of exercise and to raise funds for charity in the inaugural HBA Great Australian Run.

The combined HBA Health Insurance (http://www. hba. com. au) team lined up with thousands of other Victorian and interstate runners to take on some of the world's leading distance runners, including World, Olympic and Australian champions, in the 15 kilometer event held in Melbourne on Sunday 30 November.

Bupa Australia Managing Director Richard Bowden said the HBA team included runners and walkers of all fitness levels, including Hawthorn legend Peter Hudson.

"Some of our people travelled from Brisbane QLD and Orange NSW to participate in this historic event, the first of the Great Run Series to ever be held in the southern hemisphere," Mr Bowden said.

"We are also proud that our Ambassadors - swim champion Matt Welsh and race walking star Jane Saville - also laced on their running and walking shoes to join the team."

The HBA Great Australian Run is part of the Great Run Series, the world's largest running program. HBA Health Insurance (http://www. hba. com. au) is part of the Bupa Group, which has been supporting the Great Run Series in the UK for 16 years.

The Great Run Series attracts more than 700,000 participants each year and raises millions of dollars for charity.

"The HBA Great Australian Run 2008 is no different, giving all participants the opportunity to raise funds for the charity of their choice," Mr Bowden said.

"HBA nominated Very Special Kids, which supports the families of children with life-threatening illnesses, as our principal charity for this event. We encourage all participants, their friends and supporters, to pledge their support for VSK or any other charity of the runner's choice."

Mr Bowden said the HBA Health Insurance team's involvement was particularly important given the role of HBA as part of one of Australia's leading private health insurance (http://www. hba. com. au) and care companies, Bupa Australia.

"Our people recognise the importance of regular exercise in helping to combat some major causes of illness in our community," Mr Bowden said.

Research has shown that regular exercise can:
increase levels of 'good cholesterol'  lower blood pressure  boost the immune system  help maintain healthy blood sugar levels  improve bone density  burn fat and help maintain a healthy weight  improve your mood - making you feel better during and after exercise

"The HBA Great Australian run participants raised money for a good cause, and also did something good for their health," Mr Bowden said.

Database Solutions, Inc. and BridgeFront Announce Online Learning Partnership

Database Solutions, Inc. and BridgeFront Announce Online Learning Partnership

Database Solutions Inc., developer of AccuReg 4.0 registration accuracy software, and BridgeFront, an online education firm, announce a new partnership. This partnership enables DSI to offer BridgeFront's industry-leading Revenue Cycle Education to health care providers. BridgeFront's online education supports the learning and development tools integrated into AccuReg 4.0 - the fourth generation of registration accuracy software.

Mobile, AL (PRWEB) August 24, 2010

Registration accuracy systems have evolved over the years from primarily manual process to fully automated accuracy solutions including performance, productivity and reporting functionalities. The missing link was professional learning tools that can improve staff productivity and help build an organizational culture that values skill-building education and process improvement.

"With our integrated learning and development tools and content from BridgeFront, we have now closed the gap. BridgeFront can provide our clients with the tools they need to be more successful by targeting registrar training based on error trends. Training improves individual and team competency and builds morale," said Paul Shorrosh, CEO of DSI. "We have known the leadership team at BridgeFront for many years and are pleased to partner with an organization which shares our passion for improving patient access and revenue cycle effectiveness."

BridgeFront's online courses (http://www. bridgefront. com/products_online_education. php) include a virtual notebook, a bookmarking feature, interactive review questions, post-tests, 'Certificates of Mastery' and administrative monitoring features. With BridgeFront's administrative features, organizations can track student progress, print transcripts, edit courses, build new courses and create skill assessment tests.

"BridgeFront's partnership with DSI is another example of our effort to extend the value we provide to health care providers," said Peter Cizik, CEO of BridgeFront. "Our customers are already using our online education to improve the productivity of their staff and improve processes and technology. Offering our services to complement the AccuReg product line is an ideal marriage that will increase the return on investment our joint customers are already experiencing."

Online education is being rapidly adopted across a wide variety of industries - including health care. It takes half the time and results in a greater quality of learning versus class room training, according to recent studies conducted by Dow Chemical and IOMA, an institute for management and administration.
