Mitretek Healthcare Names Daniel B. Walter Senior Principal
Walter will lead Mitretek Healthcare’s Post Acute Care Practice.

Mitretek Systems today announced the appointment of Daniel B. Walter as Senior Principal of the Post Acute Care Practice. Dan is located in Mitretek Healthcare's Norcross, GA office.
"The nature of our business is driven by a need for operational and financial improvement," said Alan Dowling, Ph. D., executive director of Mitretek Healthcare. "The insight that Dan brings to our clients enables him to quickly address the complex issues facing post acute care centers today such as compliance and regulatory issues, and planning for shifts in demographics and payments."
Dan has over 20 years of health care experience, including over 15 years consulting experience in strategic planning, marketing, and financial analysis for rehabilitation and other post-acute providers. Dan joined Mitretek Healthcare as part of Mitretek Systems acquisition of the firm Gill/Balsano Consulting (GBC) in 2004. Gill/Balsano, The Bristol Group and Jennings Ryan & Kolb combined with Mitretek Systems' health care practice and was renamed Mitretek Healthcare in 2004.
Dan is a frequent presenter at conferences focused on specific post-acute programs such as rehabilitation, as well as addressing the post-acute care needs of acute care health systems. Dan received his MBA from Georgia State University and his BA from the University of Wisconsin.
