Most commonly known for their cookies and camping, the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida wants to inform the community that they are an organization that extends much further. Having a great vision and many goals in mind, Button and the Tropical Florida Council will collaboratively make them a reality by creating a strategic plan for creative print and outdoor advertising, in order to craft the current Girl Scout brand image.

Concentrating undeserved and at-risk girl populations, the Council works diligently to reach out to all girls through various programs which target specific social issues throughout Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Several of the council's programs target girls living in community housing developments and the migrant communities, in addition to traditional Girl Scouting. Regardless of the girl, all Girl Scout programming develops leadership skills, healthy living, good decision-making and strong moral values in girls.

With 27 cities in Miami and every 4th girl living in poverty, the Council wants to leave every young member with something to take with them at the conclusion of the year as a keepsake for life.
