Alen Corporation Announces New Line of Dehumidifiers

Alen Corporation announces three new dehumidifier models to add to its line of indoor air quality products. Each unit operates efficiently with the EnergyStar rating.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 24, 2007

Alen Corporation announced today an expansion of its indoor air quality product line. The new Alen dehumidifiers, all with the EnergyStar rating, offer many user-friendly features and easy to use operation. All of the Alen dehumidifiers can be continuously drained through a hose or drained into an internal water storage tank, along with two fan speeds and a humidistat that allows the user to set humidity levels from 35% - 80%. The new models are the MDF3-30, MDF3-50, and MDF3-70.

Designed to fit most smaller-sized rooms such as a bedroom or office, the Alen MDF3-30 provides superb performance at a great price. The Alen MDF3-30 dehumidifier removes 30 pints per day of moisture from the air. It delivers 490 watts of dehumidifying power, strong enough for coverage up to 350 square feet.

The Alen MDF3-50 dehumidifier is designed to fit mid-sized rooms. This dehumidifier removes 50 pints of moisture per day and delivers 620 watts of dehumidifying power, strong enough for up to 550 square feet. The MDF3-50 has a 9.5 liter inner water tank for storage.

The largest unit, the Alen MDF3-70, handles larger rooms such as a family room or basement. Its 800 watts of dehumidifying power removes 70 pints of moisture per day, enough for up to 800 square feet, and a 9.5 liter inner water tank.

"Controlling moisture is imperative to any complete indoor air quality solution, especially as it relates to mold," says Peter Mann, CEO of Alen Corporation. "Above 80% relative humidity, there is plenty of moisture in the air for mold to grow. In fact, even above 65%, mold growth can be a problem as can be dust mites. The new Alen dehumidifiers, with the EnergyStar rating, efficiently reduce moisture to optimal levels to promote healthier indoor air quality."

Alen's new dehumidifiers are currently available from authorized Alen dealers throughout North America. For more information, visit http://www. alencorp. com (http://www. alencorp. com).
