EP Director Rob Rose to Give Presentation at Health & Fitness Conference in Baltimore

Explosive Performance director Rob Rose to give presentation at health & fitness facility management conference in Baltimore. Rose will direct management workshop on developing a sport-specific training program.

Explosive Performance Director Rob Rose will give a presentation on May 11 at the Club Industry East conference and exposition for health and fitness facility management. The show, which features 130 exhibitors and 3,500 attendees, will be held May 11-14 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Rose will direct a two-part management workshop on developing a sport-specific training program. Rose is the founder of Herndon-based Explosive Performance, a leader in speed, agility and strength conditioning.

“The workshop will teach attendees how to start a sports-specific training program in any facility, regardless of its size,” said Rose. “My presentation focuses on business-development strategies, promotional and marketing strategies, staffing, simple program design and basic speed, agility and quickness training.”

Rose will direct attendees in hands-on activities, including the proper form and technique of various speed, agility adn quickness drills, as well as running form, first-step explosion, proper vertical jump and progression of all drills.
