Renowned London acupuncturist, Tim Colman, today decided to unlock the ancient secrets of acupuncture, by switching his acupuncture protocols for back pain into a powerful, yet easy to read acupressure program available for use by the public.
Acupuncture is now becoming widely accepted as probably the quickest and most effective natural way to stop pain. Even GP’s are now going on a four day course to use acupuncture for pain, and top sporting coaches and elite fitness professionals work closely with acupuncturists to aid their clients.
“I don't know about you, but I've always been a little skeptical about acupressure and acupuncture” states Dax Moy, one of the UK’s top performance enhancement specialists, “but after working my way through Tim's fantastic little booklet, applying the techniques to my own injuries and then seeing the results my own clients were achieving, I've been blown away.”
“The wonderful thing about acupuncture is that it can be used not only to stop pain, but to heal and then strengthen the weakened area” says Colman. “It’s great that GPs’ are finally recognizing the power of acupuncture. However, if there is pain there is something wrong, it is only a symptom, not the cause”.
Back pain is suffered by over half the UK population and for many is a part of every day life. Most of my clients come to me after years of suffering, and just think they have to suffer. The fact is, in most people it is preventable.
“I felt frustrated treating clients, relieving their pain only for them to return a month later”, explains Colman. “I developed the acupressure program because people such as dentists and builders are prone to back-ache due to the nature of their work. Nobody expects them to change careers. But with a little advice and help, they can help themselves to a less painful life.”
The booklet outlines the precise location of actual acupuncture points that focus on treating back-pain; some are even on the feet and then acupressure techniques to work on those points. Tim comments, “These are not points that I have invented. Over thousands of years their effect has been analyzed and accepted. The acupressure techniques are simple and they work.
Techniques vary from massaging on precise points to working directly on the area of pain. Even if you can’t reach round to your pain, Tim has the answer. One exercise involves wrapping two tennis balls tightly in a towel and then gently lowering yourself down onto the towel where you have the pain.
Moy, endorsing the booklet stated it, “details absolutely everything the lay person (or therapist or trainer) would need to know to help a client manage their pain without medication”.
Tim’s mission is to give power and control to the public and share the magical healing power of acupuncture with as many people as possible. He states, “The body’s natural inclination is to re-balance and heal itself. Acupuncture works by boosting, unblocking and channeling the body’s own energy to achieve and promote this healing process.”
“Acupuncture alongside nutritional advice and gentle exercise becomes a powerful ‘medicine’ that is totally safe, highly effective and available to all who are willing to learn. It is a disgrace this information is not more freely available when so many people could be benefiting from it at this very moment.”
Tim’s free e-booklet, “Acupuncture without needles: Back Pain, is now available online at:
