Inventor of LaFemme Convenience Product Chosen as Exposition Finalist
Bill Cicio, inventor of the revolutionary female urination device (FUD) has been selected as one of the finalists for Invent Now America Exposition. LaFemme® is a patented disposable product that allows females of all ages the ability and convenience to use a public restroom while standing and facing the bowl. The product alleviates the risk of using a germ infested public toilet. Research shows that most women will avoid a public restroom until a more suitable location can be found. However, this can cause additional health risks when women actually “hold it” and forego using the toilet in a timely fashion.
Bill Cicio developed LaFemme® when his wife was faced with using unsanitary toilets on their family vacations. The product is great for women who travel, hike, camp, attend sporting events, use public transportation, or who suffer from a disability that makes it difficult to sit down.
