Battery Service Employees Select Charity for Haitian Relief
Club Assist donation supports Doctors Without Borders

Club Assist announced today that it has donated $10,000 to Doctors Without Borders to assist with medical care to earthquake victims in Haiti. Employees representing the company's donations committee selected the charity.
Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971. The organization provides aid in nearly 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters.
"As a values-based organization, Club Assist cares about the communities we serve," says Don Felts, Chief Operations Officer of Club Assist North America. "I'm proud that our team selected this important cause, and hope that our contribution can bring some small measure of relief to the people of Haiti."
Club Assist North America provides support to the mobile battery service for 40 of the 41 AAA clubs and all of the Canadian Automobile Association affiliates, as well as providing support to auto clubs in Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Norway and the Netherlands.
