Attributes innovation and employee dedication to its 442% revenue growth.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 20, 2007
Sterling Testing Systems, Inc., a leading provider of employment screening services, announced it has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for New York, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2002–2006.
Sterling's CEO, William Greenblatt, credits commitment to excellence and unwavering focus as drivers for the company's 442% revenue growth from 2002–2006. Greenblatt is passionate about helping organizations create a safer workplace environment by supplying better information through innovative technologies. Under his leadership, the company has deployed the most advanced Human Capital Management Software Solution technology and provided an ever-growing roster of services for its more than 6,000 clients. "We are motivated now more than ever before," said Mr. Greenblatt. "We will continue to develop our service-enabling technologies and our abilities to provide information to employers better, faster and cheaper. Ultimately, we win by facilitating the success and safety of our clients and their employees, vendors, and customers."
A prime example of Sterling’s focus on technology can be found with CourtDirectSM -- Sterling’s proprietary criminal conviction search technology and network. CourtDirectSM has enabled Sterling to deliver criminal search services to its clients more accurately and over 50% faster than its closest competitors.
Sterling's increase in revenues of 442% from 2002 to 2006 resulted in a ranking of 28 in the Technology Fast 50 for New York.
"Deloitte’s New York Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision and tenacity to succeed in today’s very competitive technology environment," said Ed Moran, Director Product Innovation, Deloitte Services LP, New York. "We applaud the successes of Sterling and commend the company for making the commitment to technology and delivering on the promise of market longevity."
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and $5,000,000 in 2006, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
Companies from the 16 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
