Oracle Corporation Senior Executive Slated as Keynote Speaker at NCOAUG Free Oracle Training Day
Oracle Corporation's Executive Vice President of North America, Keith Block, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming North Central Oracle Applications User Group Free Summer Training Day on August 13 in Chicago.

Oracle Corporation's Executive Vice President of North America, Keith Block, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming North Central Oracle Applications User Group (NCOAUG) Summer Training Day on August 13. Mr. Block is responsible for Oracle's North America Sales and North America Consulting. Mr. Block will address conference attendees on Friday, August 13 from 11:00 am to 11:40 am, followed by a short Q&A session. The NCOAUG Summer 2004 Training Day is free and will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 at Harper College, in Palatine, IL from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Mr. Block's responsibilities at Oracle encompass sales and consulting for a very diverse group of customers spanning the Fortune 1000, through small and medium sized enterprises. In addition, he is responsible for Government, Education, and Healthcare Consulting and Oracle Direct. Mr. Block is personally engaged in several strategic client relationships and he leads a team of nearly 6,000. His organizations are focused on selling and delivering both Oracle technology and the Oracle® E-Business Suite. Mr. Block has been integral to the development and delivery of Oracle's Managed Services initiative. His responsibilities include the development and implementation of industry best practices, the strategy and implementation of Oracle's North America partnering program and an aggressive indirect channel program. He is responsible for leading Oracle Consulting's Global Service Line initiative.
NCOAUG is a free, one-day event offering a full agenda of the latest information on Oracle Applications, including in-depth training and information tracks designed to bring users up to date on application functionality, enhancements and implementation techniques. In addition, the NCOAUG 2004 Training Day will feature module overviews, industry specific breakout sessions, and demonstrations at the Oracle Campground, vendor exhibits and presentations.
NCOAUG Summer 2004 Training Day will include multiple tracks presented each hour. Topics will range from new directions of Oracle, DBA and tuning issues, to new toolsets and user interfaces, installations and upgrades, special customizations, and functional issues. In addition, there will be presentations on a variety of applications products. These presentations will cover a wide range of topics. For example, presentations will cover Financials, Manufacturing and Projects, CRM, Web Apps and E-Commerce.
