Tucson Women Business Owner of the Year Attends Conference in Washington DC.

Dana Rambow, President and CEO of AristoCare Home Health Services and Aristocare Franchise Corporation attended the national Association of Woman Business Owners Public Policy Days in Washington DC.

As the President – Elect of the Greater Tucson Chapter of NAWBO, she attended the National chapter President meeting, the NAWBO chapter presidents public relations training session, the leadership luncheon and a public policy 101 session. Today, Rambo attended Health Care meetings regarding insurance reform, associated health plans and bills pending in the legislature. She will be taking a trip to Capital Hill and attending meetings on immigration reform at the U. S. Chamber of Commerce.

Aristocare Home Health Service s was established in 1999 and has three offices in Southern Arizona. They provide in-home health care predominantly to seniors. Aristocare began franchising with the opening of their first franchise in Laguna Hills, CA in April 2005. They are in the process of opening three new franchisees over the next six months in Northern California, Minnesota and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rambow’s franchise system is based on a full medical model of home health. They offer services ranging from companionship through skilled nursing. Their franchise system is listed as one of the top 100 franchise opportunities by Entrepreneur magazine in 2005. Rambo states that with a 379% growth in senior population over the next 30 years, the need for home health care will see exponential growth. Aristocare franchise strategy is to open 100 locations nationally over the next five years.
