Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) Announces the Winners of DART Coordinators

Princess Sumaya University for Technology has announced the results of elections for the coordinators of “DART” society, a student run society within the university.

Distinguished students of the university ran for the positions, which resulted in the winning of five students uncontested. The election procedure went on in a free, healthy and democratic atmosphere.

The new DART coordinators are: Shatha Haj, Walid Bshouti, Nicolas Micarkar, Rana Ibrahim, and Lubna Inemeh.

Dr. Mohammad Shishani, dean of students affairs at PSUT commented, “Dart society aims at developing students’ software and business skills, thus preparing them professionally, while strengthening their position at the university through lectures and activities held by DART in coordination with the newly DART team student elected by the university students.”

“The election procedure,“ he added “was organized by the student deanship, spares no effort in preparing necessary means to satisfy the hopes and aspirations of the students, a matter that accords fully with the university’s goals and plans.“

The DART program is an active student organization oriented towards enhancing business skills. DARTÂ’s mission is to expose students to the business world, both locally and internationally, through workshops and lectures and build a bridge between academia and the local and global markets, to develop and enhance entrepreneurial companies.
