Airfoil Appoints Gayle Joseph to Vice President

Joseph to assume a key role within agency's business-to-business client roster.

Airfoil Public Relations, experts in public relations and marketing communications for both leading and emerging companies, has appointed Gayle Joseph to vice president in the business-to-business technology group. As vice president, Joseph's primary focus is on leading the agency's work for one of the world's foremost innovators in software for business, home and industry.

With more than two decades of experience in PR, Joseph brings a wealth of expertise to her position at Airfoil, where she is providing senior leadership on key agency accounts, fostering development of professionals within the organization and implementing programs for the efficient execution of strategic communications initiatives.

Joseph was previously a vice president at Mullen Public Relations, where she led the General Motors and GE Plastics accounts, a tenure highlighted by the launch of the Chevy Volt hybrid concept vehicle. Prior to her work with Mullen, Joseph was director of global communications for Guardian Industries Corp. In this role she spearheaded the transformation of the organization's marketing, PR and communications efforts.

Joseph has also held the position of senior vice president of John Bailey & Associates Inc. and has an extensive background in healthcare having worked in the PR department of Detroit Macomb Hospital Corporation for a number of years.

She is active in the Public Relations Society of America and is a member of the Oakland Schools Education Foundation board of trustees. As a member of Inforum (formerly the Women's Economic Club), she has served as chair of its PR and Branding Communications Committees. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations from Northern Illinois University.
