Inviro Medical Devices to Exhibit Infection Control Products at Upcoming APIC Events

Leader in Manually Retractable Technologies to Demonstrate Products at October Events in North Carolina, California, and Ohio

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 11, 2006

Inviro Medical Devices, creator of the innovative InviroSNAP!® Safety Syringe, will exhibit at three upcoming chapter meetings of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC). Inviro Medical will demonstrate its Inviro Safety System product line for APIC members in North Carolina on October 16, 2006 at the Sheraton Atlantic Beach Oceanfront Hotel, as well as at the APIC Central Ohio Regional Conference on October 19 and 20, 2006 at the Columbus Ohio Hilton. In addition, Inviro will be present at APIC Sierra on October 20, 2006, at the Holiday Inn Express in Elk Grove, California. All of these meetings are scheduled during International Infection Prevention Week, occurring October 16-22.

Attendees, including infection control practitioners, epidemiologists and employee health personnel, are invited to visit the Inviro Medical exhibit to meet with company representatives, attend demonstrations of medical devices, and secure product literature. Northern Representative Rick Fedie and Senior Vice President of Sales Jim Charlesworth will attend the Ohio Conference on October 19, while Western Representative Ted Curry will be available on October 20 in California to meet with visitors. In North Carolina, Southeast Representative Charles Farry will discuss infection control options with event attendees.

“We look forward to this opportunity to meet with members of local APIC chapters to discuss how our products provide enhanced infection control and protection from needlestick injuries,” said Charlesworth. According to a 2006 independent nationwide study, sponsored by Inviro Medical Devices, needlestick injuries continue to be a major concern for healthcare workers. “With the recent launch of our InviroSNAP! Safety Syringe, we address those areas for improvement in safety design identified by survey respondents.”

Following its participation at the 2006 national APIC meeting in Tampa, Inviro Medical will continue to be involved in APIC events nationwide. Upcoming APIC programs at which Inviro will exhibit its infection control products are listed on the company’s website, at www. inviromedical. com.
