Comedy For a Cure Benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Presented by the New York ComedianÂs Coalition at CarolineÂs on Broadway
On Wednesday, August 31st, the New York ComedianÂs Coalition (ÂNYCCÂ) will host an evening of comedy at CarolineÂs on Broadway.

On Wednesday, August 31st, the New York ComedianÂs Coalition (ÂNYCCÂ) will host an evening of comedy at CarolineÂs on Broadway. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society a national voluntary health agency dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
"The New York ComedianÂs Coalition is very pleased to have CarolineÂs and a line up of talented comedians collaborating on this joint effort," said NYCC co-founder Ted Alexandro. "Laughter has a way of bringing people together and we believe by delivering quality comedy at an event such as this we can raise money and awareness for this well respected charity and its mission.Â
Scheduled to perform are Todd Barry, Ted Alexandro, Tom Shillue, Russ Meneve, Rusty Ward and Jesse Joyce, all boasting an impressive list of credits including appearances on Letterman, Conan OÂBrien and Last Comic Standing. Barry, Shillue and Alexandro have also recorded their own half hour specials airing on Comedy Central.
