Samir Mehta, MD, is Chief of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service within the University of Pennsylvania Health System and a faculty member of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine. His books include Step-Up to USMLE Step 1, Step-Up to the Bedside, Orthopaedic Key Review Concepts, External Fixation of the Pelvis and Extremities, External Fixation: Techniques Using the JET-X® System, and Orthobiologics: Improving Fracture Care Through Science. In addition, Dr. Mehta has authored over 20 peer-review publications ranging from orthopaedic surgery to ethics to resident education.
