Indianapolis Chapter of 100 Black Women Increases Membership

INDIANAPOLIS (PRWEB) June 10, 2003 Â The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Indianapolis Chapter, Inc. (Coalition) today announces the confirmation of 12 new members. The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (www. ncbw. org) is a public benefit corporation involved in charitable, educational and social purposes. Membership in the Coalition is by invitation, and new members are admitted twice yearly (June and December).
The Coalition includes a broad cross-section of women in Indianapolis. There are women in every stage of life who represent a variety of professional and entrepreneurial endeavors. Many members have lived in the Indianapolis metropolitan area all their lives and some are relatively new to our local community. The Coalition seeks, as members, women of color who have attained recognition and have demonstrated distinguished leadership in their particular areas of expertise.
The following new members, listed in alphabetical order by first name, were confirmed and welcomed to the Coalition during the organizationÂs General Membership Meeting in June:

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women is an organization of women who are serious about themselves and what women can contribute to our country at large, and the local Indianapolis community in particular. To become a member, a candidate must be willing to share a portion of their lives with the Coalition including time, talents and financial resources.
