Comprehensive Health Education Foundation Adds Marketing and Sales Director to Staff

Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C. H.E. F. ®), developer of the most widely used prevention curricula in the United States, announced that it has hired Pam Garfield as its Marketing and Sales Director. In this position, Garfield will oversee planning and implementation of all marketing and sales activities for the organization, reporting directly to Debra Keene Bergeron, Vice President of C. H.E. F.

Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C. H.E. F. ®), developer of the most widely used prevention curricula in the United States, announced that it has hired Pam Garfield as its Marketing and Sales Director. In this position, Garfield will oversee planning and implementation of all marketing and sales activities for the organization, reporting directly to Debra Keene Bergeron, Vice President of C. H.E. F. Garfield will work closely with most of the organization’s employees, and will supervise a small staff.

With much of her professional career spent in the publishing field, Garfield joins C. H.E. F. from San Francisco-based Krames, a division of StayWell Company, and a leading developer of health and prevention education materials. While at Krames, Garfield held the position of Executive Editor, which was preceded by a brief stint as Custom Project Manager. Prior to these posts, she was employed at Weldon Owen in San Francisco as a Freelance Writer and Editor, and at Palo Alto-based Fast Mark as Managing Editor and Senior Writer. Earlier in her career, Garfield practiced law as an Associate Attorney at Boylan & Bowen, P. C. in Springfield, Vermont.

Garfield, who recently relocated to Seattle from San Francisco with her family, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Art History from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, and her law degree from the University of Denver College of Law.
