The Southern California Bicycle Expo also features two annual riding events. The fifth annual Wells Fargo Home Mortgage KidÂs Ride, April 3, will use a closed course on the Convention Center grounds and adjacent streets designed to maximize fun and safety for participants of all ages. The event is open to kids 12 and under, and is free to all participants. All finishers will receive a race number, a special medal and free entry into the Southern California Bicycle Expo.
Now in its seventh year, the 2004 Volvo City of Angels Fun Ride (April 4) once again will help Âthe cityÂs littlest angels by donating the rideÂs profits to help Childrens Hospital Los Angeles buy a bloodmobile. This yearÂs new spectacular 38+ mile route offers a tour of over 65 cultural, historic and scenic Los Angeles sightsÂcelebrating the diversity that is Los Angeles by bringing people together in a fun and healthy wayÂby bike. Nearly 1,000 riders participated in last yearÂs event. All riders receive free admission to the Southern California Bicycle Expo.
