Sons and Daughters with Destiny Inc. will host health & wellness fair

Atlanta, GA---November 1, 2002 The non profit group Sons and Daughters with Destiny Inc. will host a “free” Health, Wellness and Community Empowerment Day at the Mall West End on Saturday, November 9, from 10 a. m.-6 p. m.
Over 25 organizations including the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and Fulton County Dept of Health & Wellness will provide health screenings, demonstrations and informational workshops throughout the day. Attendees can take advantage of family safety tips, financial planning sessions, dance classes, live entertainment and an early morning aerobics class. The 45 minute work-out/aerobics instruction class will be presented by Just Wellness including a 15 minute session on “exercising you way into a healthy body. There will be random give-a-ways and gift certificates from the Mall West End stores.
“Our organization was established to reach out to men, women, children and their families of all ethnic backgrounds and socio-economic levels in hopes of empowering them to live at 100% of their potential,” said Director Katheryn Jones, “ We want to educate all people and provide an opportunity to learn about the health concerns that face them and their families.
The Sons and Daughters with Destiny Inc. is a non profit organization with the mission of making an impact upon the community via discipleship counseling, mentoring, educational initiatives and conferences/workshops. Sons and Daughters with Destiny Inc. provides services to “at risk” men, women, children and their families who have endured difficult times due to unfortunate circumstances. Sons and Daughters with Destiny Inc. provides a partnership with positive role models with the goal of educating and allowing all who are in need of assistance in order to search within themselves and reach out to God to break down barriers and hindrances that hold them in bondage from living in freedom.
