Propark National Expansion Hits Manhattan

An industry leader in the parking management sector, Propark America takes over multiple facility management in Manhattan. The deal, with Continuum Health Partners, represents the aggressive growth of this Hartford-based corporation.

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 12, 2004 -

— Propark America expanded into new territory in April by acquiring numerous parking operations in the Borough of Manhattan. The parking company was awarded the contract by Continuum Health Partners, a joint venture of four hospitals providing an integrated health services network extending throughout New York City. The contract, previously held by Vancouver, British Columbia based Imperial Parking, represents the latest addition to Propark’s expanding portfolio of locations in the greater New York City area, as well as its impressive national roster of accounts. The extensive parking agreement includes management of parking facilities and surface lots supporting Beth Israel Medical Center, Roosevelt Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital.

“This new account is indicative of our expertise in the parking management of medical centers,” said David Schmid, Chief Operating Officer of Propark. “We are looking forward to providing Continuum Health Partners with parking solutions that reflect the sensibilities of their overall operation.”

“Our track record speaks for itself,” Schmid continued. “We have demonstrated over the last twenty years that we know how to effectively implement and manage an operation that increases revenues for businesses while simultaneously controlling operating costs.”
