Trekadoo vacation rental software adds features.
Trekadoo is the first vacation rental software designed to help individual home owners run their vacation homes quickly and easily. Today they announced their latest feature release - Trekadoo Sync Calendars. Trekadoo calendars allow renters to book vacation homes the same way they book a hotel, flight, or rental car. Online, instantly, with a credit card.
Kathryn Christensen, CEO of Trekadoo stated; “this is a huge leap forward for the vacation rental industry.” Most vacation home owners list their vacation properties on two to six vacation rental listing sites (think of auto-trader - except instead of selling cars, these sites are renting vacation homes). Unfortunately home owners must log into each of these websites individually to update their properties’ availability.
According to Christensen every time a renter books a property the property owner must log into all of these sites and update their availability calendars, it’s time consuming and difficult. Trekadoo’s latest product release will solve this issue. Today Christensen said; “Our latest release will save vacation home owners hours of work, and will improve the overall health of the industry by providing vacationers accurate and up to date information. These features will make vacation homes more appealing to the general traveling public.”
Until now the hotel industry has had a real advantage over the vacation rental industry. Hotels manage reservations in a professional manner, give accurate up to date availability, and allow customers to book online with a credit card. With Trekadoo vacation rental software the vacation rental industry has made a huge advance seemingly overnight. “The hotel industry is now looking over its shoulder, as companies like Trekadoo give them a run for their money,” Christensen.
Over the past 10 years vacation rentals have become a very attractive way to travel. They are particularly attractive to large groups, individuals who like to experience local cultures and customs, and those that want something different and new when they travel. Christensen says; “It’s the only way I travel anymore, whether I’m going on vacation for two days or a month I only stay in vacation rentals. They're just so pleasant.”
