Thomas J. Kent, Jr. and other managing partners of FDP Capital, LLC. will launch the FDP Capital Political Action Committee. This committee will be a non-partisan Political Action Committee that will support candidates that share the values and principles involved in FDP Capital. These values include such issues as lower taxes, healthcare reform, civil rights, right to bear arms. Sean Milroy, a managing partner of FDP Capital, LLC., says, "in today's political climate, one cannot be a Republican or Democrat. One must fit the position of the candidate that best represents their interest."
FDP Capital Political Action Committee will be very active in campaigns, not only in New York State, but also the entire country. Thomas J. Kent, Jr. has been a political activist since his days as an undergraduate. Thomas J. Kent, Jr. says that the Political Action Committee will be used for the good of the common man, to make sure that every voice is heard. Thomas J. Kent, Jr.'s father, Thomas Kent, Sr., was heavily involved in the American Civil Rights Movement and also was involved in politics on the local and state level as well as a small business owner. Thomas J. Kent, Jr. learned a lot from his father and that is why he now feels that at this point in his business career it is time to be politically active. Thomas J. Kent, Jr. is also the owner of the Kent Marketing Group, LLC., which is an international marketing company and he will use that as well as to market for different political candidates. Thomas J. Kent, Jr. is heavily involved in Real Estate ventures and has launched the Kent Real Estate Development Group that will have joint venture relationships with different developers fro around the United States. Thomas J. Kent, Jr. now spends most of his time between New York City and Southern California.
