California Awards $9M Statewide Hazardous Materials Contracts to Andersen Environmental
The Real Estate Services Division of the State of California Department of General Services (DGS) has named Andersen Environmental its primary provider of on-call hazardous materials testing and remediation services.

The Real Estate Services Division of the State of California Department of General Services (DGS) has named Andersen Environmental its primary provider of on-call hazardous materials testing and remediation services. Andersen Environmental was awarded three contracts for each one of the state-identified regions, including the Northwest/Bay Area, North/Central, and Southern California areas.
The contracts, which go into effect in 2011, ask Andersen Environmental to complete the full range of hazardous materials investigation, testing, and monitoring services across the State. Services contracted for include air/water/soil testing, environmental surveys, moisture testing, oversight, and remediation services.
Andersen Environmental will stand ready on-call to address any hazardous materials needs identified by the DGS during the contract period. The contracts allot for up to $9 million in services to be rendered to the State over three years.
