The Institute of Health Sciences (IHS), located in Timonium, Maryland, has announced that the Electroneurodiagnostic Technology Program has been awarded thirty (30) college credits by the Connecticut Credit Assessment Program (CCAP), administered by Charter Oak State College.

Charter Oak State College provides a customized curriculum in a flexible format, so that students may earn an Associate or Baccalaureate degree at Charter Oak State College while attending The Institute of Health Sciences, or may decide to continue on with their college studies after completion of the Electroneurodiagnostic Program.

"We are excited to announce the ability of our students to take our END courses and then transfer those credits into an AA or BS degree at a regionally accredited college," said Institute of Health Sciences CEO Richard Trader, MMsc PA-C FCCM. "The CCAP review makes us confident that our courses meet regionally accredited standards, but also that our students will have a smooth transition in working with these institutions to complete their college degrees."

Individual students who are matriculated for a degree at Charter Oak may transfer their END credits directly to the registrar at Charter Oak or may have the credits placed in a credit registry at Charter Oak for transfer to another designated institution.

"Charter Oak is pleased to be working with The Institute of Health Sciences," said Shirley M. Adams, Ph. D., Provost of Charter Oak State College. "This award fits with our mission of providing diverse and alternative opportunities for adults to earn degrees."
