Emergency Care and Safety Institute Announces New Alliance with Boy Scouts of America
The Emergency Care and Safety Institute announces a new venture with the Boy Scouts of America to provide customized training resources based on their new Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines.
Sudbury, MA (Vocus) March 9, 2010
The Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) today announced an exciting new venture with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to provide training resources based on their new Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines. A Wilderness First Aid Field Guide and customized Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Instructor’s ToolKit CD are available now. These resources will be distributed by Jones & Bartlett Publishers, the exclusive publisher of the Emergency Care and Safety Institute.
The Emergency Care and Safety Institute will also deliver a series of multi-day “Train-the-Trainer” courses to Boy Scout leaders across the country. These instructor orientation sessions will provide the skills and competencies needed to teach the Wilderness First Aid program, as well as ECSI’s Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) courses.
