Trafasi 1.0 provides Palm OS based wireless device and PDA users with necessary security tools that allow them to restrict access to their device should it be lost or stolen. Trafasi 1.0 builds on the momentum established by the rapid adoption of PDAs and intelligent wireless phones (smart phones) and solves the growing concern of privacy. As cellular networks increase the availability of data services, security and privacy become a larger concern. The portability of wireless devices makes them susceptible to theft and loss. VeratronÂ’s security application gives mobile device users the confidence to use their devices to their fullest capabilities knowing that confidential information is protected with strong 256bit encryption.
Veratron enabled PDAÂ’s are protected by strong 256 bit encryption, and can be unlocked by using a password known only by the user. All Veratron Enabled devices can also be registered in the Trafasi Device Retrieval System (TDR) that allows for anonymous return of devices through Veratron. Trafasi will retrieve the device and return it to the registered owner. This unique service ensures privacy and anonymity for both parties involved therefore increasing the probability of a deviceÂ’s return. When lost or stolen, a device is locked and the Trafasi return contact details are presented on the screen instructing them to contact Veratron for return instructions.
