Dossman has long provided services to professional athletes, first as an intern at a sports-medicine clinic in Inglewood, Calif., then as a physician at a Long Beach treatment center, and finally, as part of his own practice, Alternative Healthcare Solutions.
His training and experience have afforded him first-hand knowledge of how one serious blow on the field of play can destroy lifelong dreams of a scholarship or pro career. “An athlete’s success can be attributed not only to his talent, but also to his conditioning,” he notes. During research Dr. Dossman developed a groundbreaking, cutting edge healing technique called “Cold Laser Therapy”. Dossman is a graduate of the Southern California University of Health Sciences/Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, to which he earned a full scholarship. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences in just three years, graduating with honors in 1998. Four years later, at the age of 25, Dossman became one of the youngest chiropractic physicians in the nation. His youthful appearance and casual style have made him a natural confidant for his teen patients – he’s actually been mistaken for a student. Moreover, none of his staff is over 30.
