Worldwide Digital Communications Corp., the producers of Green Magazine TV is a new television series featuring ecology and energy conscious companies and organizations. This series will showcase some of the newest and greenest technologies being utilized and is scheduled to air on the Discovery Channel.

Green Magazine TV is hosted by Tristan Rogers, well known for his work in tv and film, as well as an avid supporter of the environment. For more information on Tristan Rogers please visit his website at http://www. tristanRogers. com (http://www. tristanRogers. com)

The Global Gas Flaring Reduction (GGFR) partnership, a World Bank-led initiative, will be featured on Green magazine TV, a show produced by WDCC TV and airing on the Discovery Channel as part of an investigative look into the issue of global warming and its impact on our environment and the future of our planet. For decades, national and private oil companies have been burning the gas associated with oil production. Natural gas is released when oil is produced, but is less profitable, especially in countries that lack sufficient regulations, infrastructure and markets. GGFR helps countries and companies to overcome barriers to cut flaring. Eliminating gas flaring worldwide would eliminate more core missions than all the projects registered under the Kyoto Protocol Clean Development Mechanism, the landmark agreement to reduce emissions by 2012. Flaring happens all over the world, but mostly in fewer than 20 countries. Russia is the second largest producer of gas flares after Nigeria.
