Tea VS. Coffee? Vancouver based family health food company launches unique new energy bar flavors.
The Ellingson family, owners of PROsnack Natural Foods of Vancouver BC, have responded to customer demand to increase the product line of their successful "ELEV8 Me!" energy bars. Clients can now choose "tea vs. coffee": 1. Matcha Green Tea with Cranberries or 2. Coffee Bean Cocoa Crunch.

CEO Earl Ellingson on the launch, "with over 500 stores now selling ELEV8 Me! natural protein/energy bars, it was time to bring out 2 new flavors to add to the 3 existing lines: All-Fruit Original, Cocoa Coconut Cluster and Banana Nut Bread. We've always wanted to have unique flavors, and now we've put an exclamation point on that goal."
The first new flavor: "Matcha Green Tea with Cranberries", is made with "matcha", the purest Japanese green tea on the market, which grinds the whole leaf into a powder which is then infused into the bar along with whey protein isolate, cranberries and more fruits. Matcha green tea is 10x stronger than regular green tea making this bar reputedly rich in antioxidants.
The second new flavor: Coffee Bean Cocoa Crunch is made with slow-roasted whole organic fair trade coffee beans crunched into a chocolatey mix of pure organic cocoa, whey protein isolate and real fruits.
