Consumers Turn the Tables on Retailers and Corporations Starting December 24

OutSource Data Bank turns data into dollars, putting ordinary people on the receiving end of media revenues. Consumer databank for the people by the people launches on Christmas Eve starting in Arizona. Consumers opt-in demographic data (age, gender and zip code only) and receive revenue resulting from the use of the databank by retailers and corporations for interactive messaging and other purposes. "Big Business spends a lot of money to engage consumers. It seemed only fair that consumers should be able to claim some of that money, especially now..." commented OutSource Data Bank Founder Bob Ells.

Gilbert, AZ (PRWEB) December 19, 2008

On December 24, OutSource Data Bank will launch globally a unique demographic databank starting in Arizona that puts ordinary people on the receiving end of media revenues.

Potential income for Arizona consumers is in the billions of dollars.

OutSource Data Bank (http://www. outsourcedatabank. com (http://www. outsourcedatabank. com)) is a consumer databank for the people by the people, with each member becoming a stakeholder in the company upon depositing demographic data of interest to retailers and other corporations. Demographic data includes age, gender and zip code. Arizona membership receives 75% of all revenues resulting from the use of the databank by companies for interactive messaging, marketing and other purposes.

The company is the brainchild of two database pioneers and visionaries, Bob and son Ethan James "EJ" Ells. "Big Business spends a lot of money to engage consumers. It seemed only fair that consumers should be able to claim some of that money, especially now that retirement funds are evaporating, housing is in a free-fall and people can't rely on a paycheck anymore," commented Bob Ells. He said the idea for OutSource Data's unique business model came after viewing news about a middle-class worker who lost a third of his lifelong earned pension and all his family health coverage due to corporate bankruptcy. "It was particularly enraging that the company opened under a new name," said Ells.

"Our technology levels the playing field for these and other individuals," added EJ Ells.

Membership in OutSource Data Bank is free, and active for life or as long as members receive and respond to messaging. Members are required to open a dedicated communication line with OutSource Data Bank in order to qualify.

Anyone with a valid social security number can participate - even diapered children -- whose earnings will be placed in a trust fund for college or until they reach legal age.

The database management system behind OutSource Data Bank is based on proprietary technology developed as a result of the Ells' involvement as data analysts for Southwest Debt Exchange, the sixth largest debt exchange in the United States. "We were approached by the big online players to buy us out. We're Boston Irish, and have the attitude to go with it, so we chose instead to create the world's largest demographic databank for the people," commented EJ Ells.

Arizona consumers will be the first to opt into OutSource Data on December 24, with subsequent market rollouts to follow into the 2009 year. Arizona membership is initially limited to 100,000 households.
