HealthHIV Appoints Dion Richetti to its Board of Directors

DIME announces the appointment of General Manager Dion Richetti to the Board of Directors of HealthHIV, a national HIV non-profit organization. HealthHIV is dedicated to advancing the effective prevention, care and support for people living with, or at risk for, HIV/AIDS by providing education, technical assistance and health services research to organizations, communities and professionals.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Dion Richetti to HealthHIV’s Board of Directors,” said Brian Hujdich, HealthHIV Executive Director. “His commitment to HIV and AIDS education spans two decades, and his medical-education expertise brings a valuable perspective and skill set to our Board.”
Dr. Richetti has been involved with HealthHIV since 2003, where he was a member of the original advisory board. Most recently, Dr. Richetti and DIME collaborated with HealthHIV on a presentation at SYNChronicity 2010, a first-of-its-kind meeting of HIV healthcare providers.
“I am excited to continue my involvement with HealthHIV—a demonstrated leader in HIV/AIDS and public health,” said Dr. Richetti. “I have spent my career identifying new ways to harness medical education to improve patient outcomes, and look forward to contributing to the organization in this capacity.”
Dr. Richetti has more 20 years of professional involvement in HIV prevention, care, treatment and education. As General Manager of DIME, Richetti leads one of the industry’s most innovative medical education agencies.
HealthHIV is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Washington, D. C. working with organizations, communities and professionals to advance effective prevention, care, and support for people living with, or at risk for, HIV/AIDS through education and training, technical assistance and capacity building, advocacy, and health services research and evaluation.
