Safety Management Group Named One of Indiana's Top Employers
The safety consulting firm ranked among the top 21 medium-sized firms in the first “Best Companies to Work for in Indiana” program sponsored by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Carmel, IN (PRWEB) March 9, 2006 –-
Safety Management Group, one of the largest independent safety consulting firms in the United States, has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Indiana.
Safety Management Group is a leading provider of occupational safety services throughout the United States. The company consists of a team of more than seventy highly innovative and talented safety professionals who provide safety consulting, employee training, project staffing, interim life safety measures, and contractor safety management systems for clients throughout the United States. The markets served include construction, manufacturing, insurance, healthcare and users of construction services.
The Best Companies to Work for in Indiana program produced a list of the top employers based on an assessment of the company's employee policies and procedures, as well as the results of an internal employee survey. Honorees were selected from two categories: small to medium-sized companies between 25 and 199 employees, and large-sized companies consisting of 200 or more employees. Seventy companies participated in the program.
The recognition program is sponsored by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and facilitated by The Best Companies Group and ModernThink, LLC.
Safety Management Group will be recognized along with other program winners at the Best Places to Work Awards luncheon on May 3 at the Westin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Winners will also be recognized via a special section of the Indiana Chamber's bimonthly BizVoice® magazine and through Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick - both of which reach statewide audiences.
The Best Companies Group has overseen similar programs in more than a dozen other states. ModernThink, LLC, a workplace excellence consulting firm, handled the selection process. The basis for this initiative is Fortune magazine's noted “100 Best Companies to Work for in America.”
