We Often Think of Prayer as a Means of Calling Upon Our Heavenly Father saying, ‘Give me this. I need that. I what it now. Lord, I’m drowning. Help me! Save me!’ Prayer Should be Something We Do On a Continual Basis, Not Just When We Want Something or Are in Trouble.
Every one of us must step up a notch and do what God has called us to do. The most important thing that He has called us to have is a lifestyle of prayer. In Ephesians 6:18 Paul writes, “Pray at all times - on every occasion, in every season - in the Spirit, with all prayer and entreaty.” (Amplified Bible)

Taking in oxygen is vital to our life. If one does not continually receive oxygen, they will die! Imagine if on each worship day we say, ‘Okey, I’m going to take my gulp of oxygen for this week.’ It would not be long before we kill over! We have to breathe oxygen on a daily basis, every hour, and every minute. Prayer is our Spiritual oxyen. We need it continually. But too many times, people pray on worship days, and think they don’t need to pray any more that week. They may pray before meals, and think that they are all prayed up. Then they wonder why they are not living a victorious life. It is because they only take one gulp of prayer for the week or month. That is not enough to get by. To be victorious and Spiritually healthy, we must live a life of prayer.
Many people have been taught about prayer, but if we donÂ’t actually pray, we will not really learn how to experience prayer. It is important that we learn how to pray. It is even more important that we practice prayer. Prayer is not easy. It takes work, and the enemy tries to keep us from praying. Evil offers so many distractions to consume our time. Why doesnÂ’t Evil wants us to pray? Evil knows there is power in prayer. God has a plan for each of us, and it is important that we learn to follow the plan of God for our life. How do we follow that plan? We pray out the plan of God!

I not only teach prayer, but we use the “Effective Prayer Pamphlet” to do the meditations and effective prayer in our groups." God knows how important prayer is. That is why He gave us instructions to pray and instructions on how to pray. Even Evil knows how important prayer is. Now it is time for us to realize it’s importance and to devote ourselves to a lifestyle of prayer. Every one of us must step up a notch and do what God has called us to do.
