Jim Greiner, owner Hands-On! Drumming® Events, gave several presentations at the recent International Music Products Trade Show (Jan. 19 - 22, 2006) at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Greiner's presentations included talks and demonstrations on the use of drumming for corporate team building, and building communication and cooperation skills in schools and communities.
Greiner was chosen to speak at this annual Music Products industry Show, which drew over 80,000 worldwide attendees, because of his long-standing recognition as "One of the pioneers of the contemporary community drumming movement" (The International Percussive Arts Society) and for his role in "pioneering team building drumming activities for corporate groups of all types and sizes." (Drum! Magazine).
Since 1980 Mr. Greiner has led thousands of interactive rhythm based team building activities for corporate meetings and corporate confenences throughout North America, as well as in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Greiner is based in the Santa Cruz, California area of Monterey Bay.
Greiner also recently won two Drum! Magazine 2005 Reader's Poll Awards, one for Drum Circle Facilitator Of The Year and another for Best Percussion Instructional Video for his Warner Bros./LP Music DVD, Community Drumming For Health & Happiness. Drum! Magazine is an internationally distributed consumer and trade monthly magazine.
