BONFILS BLOOD CENTER TO OFFER SCHEDULING ONLINE
HIGH-TECH SOLUTION WILL INCREASE BLOOD DONATIONS
DENVER, Oct. 3, 2000 -- Bonfils Blood Center is taking a high-tech step toward making it easier to donate blood by teaming up with local software company ScheduleWise. com to become the one of the nationÂ’s nationÂ’s first blood banks to offer online scheduling.
The realtime, interactive online scheduling program, developed by ScheduleWise. com, based in Littleton, CO, enables donors to log on to the Bonfils website at www. bonfils. org and search for a mobile blood drive by location and/or date. Volunteer coordinators can now send company-wide emails to solicit donations at corporate drives.
